Tuesday the 15th
Breakfast at hotel, then back to Florence for the day. Started off visiting the Uffizi, huge lines, so we passed on it. Actually, the museums all had very long lines, which for this time of year was totally unexpected.
Did some shopping, visited several churches, and then back to the Uffizi and the line was still huge. Found out later, it's free museum week in Florence this week for Culture Week, which was causing the lines. We didn't expect the long lines so we didn't reserve our spots in advance, as we were not sure of our schedule, but the city was way more crowded then expected, so if you are visiting, make your museum reservations in advance, well worth the extra 3 or 4 euros to do so.
Visited the David, dinner at a small tratorria, then back to the hotel.
