The last full day of the trip.
We visited several of the small beach towns in the area, even though it was pre season (May, the height of the season is July and August), they were still quite busy. It's impossible to even comprehend what it's like during the busy time.
It can be quite expensive to spend a lot of time at the beach. Every where you looked there was a charge (we were not sitting out in the sun on the sand all day so we didn't have to deal with most of these). Parking in some towns, five euros per hour. Want to rent two chairs and an umbrella in some of the pictures? Fifteen euros for the day (sliding scale, up to 22 for August). Some areas charged go get through their property to the beach, etc.
The temple pictures were a totally stumble upon type of thing. We saw some ancient structure from the bottom of the mountain, told TomTom to get us up to whatever it was labeled as, and 30 minutes later we were at a roman temple from 1 BC or so.
