We had a very basic but very good breakfast at the castle (toast, fruit, cereal, and the ever present nutella), then had to make a quick trip back to San Gimignano to pick up something we left at the hotel. We picked up lunch there (wild boar prosciutto, bread, tomatoes, cheese) and then headed back to visit Sienna on the way back. Many of the church pictures in today's pictures came from the Duomo there, which was a total surprise as to how beautiful it was. Please excuse the picture quality today, as flash was not permitted in many of the churches.
Dinner was at the castle, as the other couple in the dining room said they loved it, the server said it was his mother and brother that cooked it.
We also managed to enjoy several bottles of the castle's wine.
